Consistent as they come, Bell's the One won Saturday's Gr2 Thoroughbred Club of America S. at Keeneland as she loves to do.

The Neil Pessin trainee rallied from last and held a short lead in deep stretch, then held off a late challenge of Club Car to prevail by a neck.

Produced from the Street Cry mare Street Mate,  the 5yo Majesticperfection mare was short-listed at the 2017 from Airdrie Stud's Fasig-Tipton July Yearling Sale consignment.

Purchased then for $155,000 by Lothenbach Stables, Bell's the One has been expertly guided by Pessin. A stakes winner in each of four seasons, she earned her first Gr1 victory with a stirring decision over Serengeti Empress in last year's Derby City Distaff S.

Hailing from a notable Ned Evans family, Bell's the One 3rd dam Possible Mate was one of the best East coast turf females of the mid-80s.
