At 5yo, Ticker Tape Home is still thriving at Woodbine.

The Medaglia d'Oro mare out of Journey Home (War Front) finished 2nd to stablemate and fellow Ontario-bred Elysian Field bidding for a repeat in Saturday's Gr3 Seaway S.

The Sam-Son Farm bred tracked the leaders and finished well between Elysian Field and Stormcast, a 3rd Mark Casse trainee, through an exceptionally fast seven furlongs over the Tapeta (1:21.87).

Ticker Tape Home has raced exclusively at Woodbine since July of last year, winning twice and placing in three graded stakes for Casse and Live Oak Stud.

The first half of this year also saw Journey Home's 3yo Grande (Curlin) finish 2nd in the Wood Memorial making just his 3rd career start.

Journey Home was a 2015 Keeneland September graduate and Gr3 winner for Sam-Son. Her 1/2 sister Soul Spirit (Quality Road) is dam of Baffle S. winner and MGSP Scipio (Caravaggio).
