The story of a mare who has called one Midway farm home for a lifetime had another chapter written late this winter.
On March 1st, Please Sign In foaled an American Pharoah colt, her second by the U.S. Triple Crown winner and ninth overall. The daughter of Doc's Leader, now 24, will be pensioned at Hurstland Farm, where she herself was foaled and raised by breeder Alfred Nuckols.
Hailing from the immediate family of half-brothers and notable international sires Habitat and Northfields, Please Sign in 2018 produced her first American Pharoah, with sold for $320,000 at OBS March. She is the dam of Gr1 winners Certify and Cry and Catch Me, the former also Cartier Champion Two-Year-Old filly in England.
Check back later in the season for multi media content featuring the progress of this historic Hurstland foaling.
