A Curlin colt out of GSW Journey Home brought $300,000 on day one of the 2023 Keeneland September Sale.

Bred and consigned by KatieRich Farms, the colt is 1/2 to Ticker Tape Home (photo), Ontario-bred stakes winner by Medaglia d'Oro & bred by Sam-Son Farm. Repole Stable acquired the colt, one of seven offspring by the leading son of Smart Strike offered Monday at Keeneland.

A September Sale graduate herself, Journey Home won the Gr3 winner/MGSP for Sam-Son, who sold the War Front mare to KatieRich in their 2021 Keeneland January Mare Dispersal.

Journey Home's 3rd dam Solar Colony is a full-sister to 2yo champion filly Pleasant Stage.
