Alexis Zorba, runner-up to Blackbeard and Little Black Bear as a 2yo in Ireland, led inside the final eighth of the six-furlong sprint before yielding to Cigarette Boat & Davis, who drew pff by 1 1/2 lengths.
The first foal out of Gr1 winner Rosalind's full-sister, Cigarette Boat placed 2nd three times before his Big A victory, most recently missing by a nose at Kentucky Downs.
A six-figure earner in NY for Hurstland Farm & co-breeder Jamie Greene, Double Cast foaled a full-sister to Cigarette Boat last season.
