Gr2-placed Destino d'Oro makes her eagerly awaited 3yo debut in Thursday evening's finale at Churchill Downs.

The Hurstland Farm graduate drew the rail for the 1 1/16th mile turf allowance and picks up Luan Machado, riding the Brad Cox trainee for the first time.

In just two juvenile starts, the Steve Landers-owned Destino d'Oro displayed the class long awaited from an offspring of dam Heart of Destiny (Lion Heart). The sole mating of the Gr1 runner-up to the son of Medaglia d'Oro produced a $25,000 yearling who by the following September blossomed into a sparkling Kentucky Downs debut winner.

Next in Keeneland's Gr2 Jessamine S., Destino d'Oro rallied widest for 3rd, coming up a head shy of victory. She has been back in Lexington since April training toward her return.
