Destino d'Oro will be the last foal to race out of Gr1-placed Heart of Destiny (Lion Heart). Off first impressions, the Hurstland Farm graduate appears on the fast track to emulating her dam.

The 2yo Bolt d'Oro filly could not have much more impressive winning her one-mile debut Saturday at Kentucky Downs. Rallying from well back in the field, the Brad Cox trainee made a smooth five-wide rally to the fore under Flavien Prat and won in hand from Golden Sunshine by 2 1/4 lengths.

Destino d'Oro was a 2023 Keeneland September graduate before selling to Steve Landers for $180,000 at the OBS Spring Sale in April. Bred by Hurstland in partnership with Jamie Greene, she hails from the immediate family of Gr1 winner Rosalind and is the fifth winner out of her dam.

Racing in owner/breeder Alfred Nuckols' Hurstland silks, Heart of Destiny was runner-up to Stephanie's Kitten in the 2011 Darley Alcibiades S.
