New foals are on the ground for both Smart Strike's MGSW Family Tree & her dam, Giant Mover.

Family Tree (photo), 1/2 sister to subsequent Gr2 winner & Kentucky Oaks 2nd Liora, delivered a Medaglia d'Oro colt for Gary & Mary West. Family Tree, bred in partnership by Dell Ridge & Sam-Son Farms, is dam to two winners.

Acquired by Meadow Oaks Farm at 2023 Keeneland November, 18yo Giant Mover produced for her new owners a filly by Gr1 Carter H. winner Army Mule.

The foundation behind the Giant Causeway mare's success runs through the heart of Ned Evans' one-time breeding empire. Her dam Gold Mover (Gold Fever) was a Gr2-winning sprinter but also 1/2 sister to Dance Teacher (Smarten), winner of the Gr1 Ladies H. over 10f for trainer P.G. Johnson.

That versatility carried through to Giant Mover, a black-type earner exclusively on turf yet dam to a pair of GSW on dirt.
