Some things are like clockwork. The 2yos are off and running in Saratoga, and Love Cove has another promising runner to note.

This Sunday's card in Saratoga Springs featured a filly MSW on turf with several notable debutantes, including eventual 3rd-placed Snow Dance. The Commissioner filly is out of the stakes producer Love Cove and, if first impressions are any indication, her racing future appears bright.

Snow Dance (blue and white silks) gained the lead late in the 1 1/16 mile conest, yielding only to a pair of rival fillies including the victorious Hard to Justify, behind whom she finished a head and 1/2 length.

Snow Dance was bred in Kentucky by Leonard Supchak.

A 2005 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale graduate herself, Love Cove was bred by the late David Cassidy and produced seven winners from her longtime Kentucky residence Hurstland Farm.

Now 19yo, Love Cove has seen her offspring realize considerable success over the past two seasons. $425,000 2yo Diamond Hands, bred along a similar cross to Snow Dance, is stakes-placed. Another daughter, Broken Hearts Bay is MSP this year at Prairie Meadows, where she subsequently graduated by nearly 10 lengths.
