The calendar reads November, but it's never too late for a notable 2yo debut.

First-time starter Undervalued Asset graduated Thursday at Aqueduct in auspicious style, winning a six-furlong MSW by 8 1/4 widening lengths.

The 2yo Speightstown filly out of Hard Headed Temper (Hard Spun) stuttered briefly after the break but quickly regrouped. The Chad Brown trainee widened her lead through the stretch without much urging, only to be righted by Jose Ortiz after ducking in at the 1/16th pole.

Bred in partnership by and reared at Hurstland Farm, unraced Hard Headed Temper is out of a 1/2 sister to Gr1 runner-up Heart of Destiny. She also counts Gr1 winner Rosalind, among her immediate family.

Hard Headed Temper is dam to a Mitole yearling filly & Echo Town weanling colt.
