Amor Clandestino may just be warming up. The Haras Dadinco-bred landed his 3rd career win Sunday in Santiago, taking a nine-furlong handicap by 1 1/2 lengths over late-closing King of Magic.

The Flameaway colt out of Romantique (Harlan's Holiday) also has two 4th place finishes in stakes company among 15 career starts. His affinity for middle-distance (he placed 6th in last December's Gr1-CHI St. Leger) should afford him more stakes opportunities going long.

Dam of two winners, the Wertheimer et Frere-bred Romantique is a granddaughter of their 2003 U.S. champion juvenile filly Halfbridled, winner of the Gr1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Del Mar Debutante.

Romantique is joined in the Dadinco band by a daughter, Romantiscat (Scat Daddy), whom she was carrying upon import to Chile.
