Ticker Tape Home (Medaglia d'Oro) reaffirmed her affinity for Woodbine's Tapeta, this time providing dam and Keeneland September graduate Journey Home a first GSW.

The Mark Casse trainee rallied from just off the pace under Patrick Husbands to win Saturday's Gr3 Seaway S. by a neck from favorite Gal in a Rush. Already a black-type winner over the surface, the Sam-Son Farm-bred improved on a 4th-place finish in the same seven-furlong test a year ago.

Ontario-bred Ticker Tape Home was purchased at Fasig-Tipton's Saratoga Select Sale for $625,000 by Live Oak Stud.

A Gr3 winner and MGSP for Sam-Son, all on turf, Journey Home was selected out of Book 2 at the 2015 September Sale for $200,000. She was later acquired by KatieRich Farms, which bred her 2yo Curlin colt currently in training.
