2024 Chilean classic winner Ando Soltera (Flameaway) is on the move.

Haras Dadinco's Alejandra Sanchez confirmed the stud's 3yo homebred will quarantine in the United States before heading to Japan.

Winner of the Gr1 Premio Mil Guineas Maria Luisa Solari, Ando Soltera is out of Malibu Maple (Malibu Maple) and 1/2 sister to MGSW Toy Soltero (Van Nistelrooy). Breeders at her new destination will be in receipt of an heir to a goldmine of U.S. pedigree.

Ando Soltera is a 4th-generation descendant of Gold Beauty (Mr. Prospector), champion sprinter in American as her son Dayjur (Danzig) was abroad. Ando Soltera's 3rd dam Maplejinsky (Nijinsky II), trained masterfully by P.G. Johnson to win 1988's Gr1 Monmouth Oaks and Alabama S., left her own compelling legacy.

Dam to 13-time GSW winner Sky Beauty (Blushing Groom), Maplejinsky also produced Our Country Place, who buoyed a Phipps Stable revival in the early 2000s. The Pleasant Colony mare produced Breeders’ Cup Distaff winner Pleasant Home and MGSW winner Country Hideaway, plus the dam of multiple Gr1 winners Pine Island and Point of Entry.

A daughter of Sky Beauty's 3/4 sister Crimson Maple (Rahy) Malibu Maple was sourced from 2016 Keeneland September by Dadinco and is 1/2 sister to subsequent MSW Goldswood (Medaglia d'Oro).

Ando Soltera’s full-brother is the unraced 2yo Bacan Soltero.

More details on her sale to follow.
