The 6yo 1/2 sister to Shared Account (Pleasantly Perfect) padded her career earnings finishing a resolute 2nd to Pharoah's Wine in Thursday's $500,000 Listed One Dreamer Stakes.
Making her 3rd career Kentucky Downs appearance, Sparkle Blue was sharp throughout the One Dreamer's mile and 70-yard trip. Racing closest to the rail, Sparkle Blue relinquished a lead she held from the outset before coming back to reclaim 2nd, all while spotting Pharoah's Wine 4 lbs.
The Graham Motion trainee has earned over $1.1 million for Augustin Stable and breeder Catherine Parke, including victories in the Gr3 Valley View S. and Gr2 Hillsborough S. over a career spanning five seasons.
