Lemon Surprise, a mare born from one of the most influential families in America, is steadily making her own mark at Haras Dadinco.

The Lemon Drop Kid mare was dam of two winners this past week in Chile, 4yo Girl on Fire (photo) & sophomore colt Top Lemon, both by Van Nistelrooy. She is also dam of a yearling filly by Flameaway, the exciting son of Scat Daddy who shuttled to Dadinco his first two years at stud.

Lemon Surprise is out of Weekend Surprise's granddaughter Guest House (Ghostzapper), who has seen an uptick in her own production in recent years. Her son Guest Suite won the Gr3 Lecomte S. early on the 2017 Kentucky Derby Trail, then proved durable enough to retire at 9yo with over $600,000 in earnings.

She is also dam of 3yo Lap Star (Justify), a winner this year in Japan.

Guest House's 3rd dam is Lassie Dear, grand-dam of A.P. Indy, Summer Squall, & Lemon Drop Kid; thus Lemon Surprise is inbred 3x4 to the Buckpasser mare.
