Swoop to Finish recaptured her form Saturday over the Gulfstream Park turf, rallying from well back of a contentious allowance field for Jose Ortiz & Bill Mott.

The American Pharoah mare out of Swoop and Strike (Smart Strike) triumphed for the first time since graduating at Woodbine in June, 2022. Over the same course, the Ontario-bred & Keeneland September graduate placed a sharp 2nd in the 10f Wonder Where S.

A granddaughter of Dance Smartly, Swoop and Strike was 2nd in the Gr3 Mazarine S. for owner/breeder Sam-Son Farm, then later acquired by Dixiana Farms for $205,000. She is a 1/2 sister to stakes winner & black-type producer Dance Again (Awesome Again).
